1. Amitabh Bachchan
Vijay….Amit….Jai…., etc. Big B enacted all the roles with perfection. The contributions of the legendary actor to the Indian film industry can’t be ever forgotten. He was seen in the Sikh avatar in Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo and Kohraam.
2. Akshay Kumar
We have seen Akki in several Punjabi flavoured movies. However, he got an opportunity to portray a full-fledged Sikh role in Sing is King. The pagdi, he donned in the movie, made the character of Happy Singh more promising.
3. Saif Ali Khan
Saif’s pagdi look in Love Aaj Kal was highly appreciated. However, the religious sentiments of Sikhs were hurt due to his trimmed beard. Subsequently, the issue was resolved and ultimately the movie was released.
4. Salman Khan
Sallu performed the role of a Sikh army officer Balkar Singh in Heroes. However, the box office collections of this movie were not so good. The Punjabi punch was lacking in Salman’s accent.
5. Ranbir Kapoor
