The Top 10 Shows on Indian Television from 15th September – 22nd September

They make us laugh, dance, grin and cry together. Yes, Indian television shows have what it takes to unite everyone in the family to watch shows together. We Indians get so sensitively attached to these shows that we end up crying if, anything goes wrong against our favorite characters.  Isn’t it?

Shows come and go, but few remain in our hearts forever. I still remember what kind of magic Ramayan and Mahabharat created on Indian television screens. Same goes for enduring shows, like Buniyaad, Hum Log, and more.

A new week calls for new rankings of the shows and Feminiya is ahead of everyone in revealing the rankings of the shows for third week of September. A lot of shows went up and down in my last article on the same Top Indian television shows . Now, let’s watch out for shows that have gone up and down and also the shows that are new entrants for this week.

#10 Chanchan

I guess nothing seems to work fine for this show. The show witnessed a lot of changes in the past weeks but all have proven to be a disaster for the show. It has fallen drastically over the last few weeks in terms of TRP. The director and the creative heads have to bring in something extremely creative to make audience watch the show once again.

#9 Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai

People have started to like it now and for this reason, the show has begun to do well on Indian television. The show was premiered in October 2011 on Star Plus. The show is about two sisters and their relationship with each other. It is a new entry this week on my list and let’s see, how far it will go in weeks to come.

#8 Bade Achhe Lagte Hain

This show started off on a great note and topped the TRPs but then, few creative changes in the storyline pulled this show off the track and went tremendously down in TRPs. Now, it seems that things are becoming fine and it is coming back on track, once again. It has not been placed anywhere in my ranking since last so many weeks and this week, it has made an entry at number 8th. I would like to warn all the other show makers that Balaji Telefilms is all set to come again at the top.

#7 Do Dil Ek Jaan

The show was doing consistently well and I even mentioned in my previous rankings that everything is perfect in the show. But, with the growing competition, other shows are coming up with equally good creative elements and that’s why, this show has landed down from number 5th to number 7th in this week’s ranking. Let’s see in weeks to come where does it go further? Downwards or upwards!

#6 Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Ek Baar Phir

Things seem to work on pretty good note for this show in its second season as well. It rocked the charts as being the number one show in its first season and now once again, the actors, story, screenplay and just everything is being highly appreciated by audiences. This is the reason that the show has made a debut entry at number 6th directly and I am sure, it will continue to rock in weeks to come.

#5 Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

I think the love for this show is back and people are once again getting glued to SAB TV after a span. The show was running on low TRPs for quite some time. But now, it seems that it has come back to make us all laugh together. It is quite surprising to see this show making an entry at number 5th spot, but I think, Jethalal and his society can do anything. Isn’t it?

#4 Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 6

It was the finale week for the show and people got literally glued to see their favorite Drashti winning the show. As I told you earlier that it happened for the very first time in the history of Jhalak that it got placed so high. Interestingly, last time also it got placed at number 4th and it has continued to maintain its place. Good job!

#3 Balika Vadhu

Ah!! Now, who can forget this show? I guess it is one of the few shows that will be remembered always not just because it is an excellent show, but also because the way women related issues have been projected is impeccable. It was being missed badly by the charts, but I think Toral has made a place in everyone’s heart. Also, people like the chemistry between Shashank and Sriti Jha. We wish luck to the show for weeks to come.

#2 Diya Aur Baati Hum / Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon

So, we have a tie at number two position. If we talk about Madhubala, it has been consistently doing well, but now, I feel the story is getting on a little monotonous track and this is the reason, it has begun to fall down in TRPs. Actually, it is because they showed so many twists in the show altogether that now, audiences have become used to watching something dramatic in this show.

For Diya Aur Baati Hum, it is quite shocking for a show to jump off this big, right from number 10th to number 2nd. I would just say hats off to the creative heads and writers for working upon the creative elements perfectly. Kudos!

Last time (Diya Aur Baati Hum) – 10th

#1 Comedy Nights with Kapil

I never imagined ever that Kapil Sharma would ever rule the Indian Television like this. He has become the “King of Comedy”. What to say about his show? Dadi, Bua, Palak, and Gutthi, everyone is so funny that you start laughing right from 10 P.M. and continue till the last minute of the show. Undoubtedly, Kapil, along with SOL, has done a terrific job in short listing the cast as well as working upon the script and concept of the show.
