Product Review- Parachute Advanced Scalp Therapie for Hair Fall Control

Hair fall has become one of the major beauty concerns for everyone, lately. I think something which is effective for hair fall would go on the checklist of everyone, girls or guys! So, it hit me one month back, when I shifted to a new place. I was horrified to see the strands (read bunch) of hair, I’d lose every day. I tried some home remedies too, but then, am too lazy for them. So, finally I picked up this one coz it looked promising, and it didn’t smell bad like other hair fall control oil and products.

So here’s my experience with Parachute Advansed Scalp Therapie.

Price: Rs. 120 for 100ml, but, the one I’ve got is 190ml for Rs. 245.

My Take on Parachute Advansed Scalp Therapie

Packaging:  It comes in a basic plastic bottle with a flip open cap. Nothing worth mentioning about the packaging.

Product: It’s a yellowish oil based solution, but it isn’t sticky like oils. It contains herbs, which are long known for keeping hair well. And, then it contains vitamin E and mineral oils, which keep hair soft. It is to be massaged onto the scalp, only so, you may use it directly from the bottle. But, I prefer pouring in a bowl, so that I can dip my fingertips properly and massage.  Now, I feel that even if, you massage it onto the scalp only, a lot of oil is consumed in one time itself. Even the 190 ml bottle that I have lasted for one and a half month, while I used it thrice a week. Now, it does reduce hair fall, but there isn’t any drastic change.

What I Like About It

  • It contains herbs and mineral oils, which sound promising.
  • Easily available at chemist shops or departmental stores.
  • Not sticky and heavy like other hair oils.
  • Doesn’t stink like other such products.
  • Cures hair fall with regular use.

What I Don’t Like About It

  • No drastic changes.
  • Quantity is less.
  • Requires commitment in terms of regular usage.

VFM?

Rs. 245 isn’t really expensive for 190ml, but, seeing the quantity that is consumed in one time and the fact that there isn’t any drastic change, I feel it’s a bit overpriced.

Am I going to repurchase it? I don’t think so!
