Here are few tips for you that are quick, tried and tested!
1 . Honey is one of the best moisturizer for Soft and Pink Lips. All you need to do is to walk to your kitchen. Apply Honey before going to bed and you’ll see considerable change in a week.
2 . Rose Petals
Crush a few petals of red rose and make a paste to coat on the lips. It will not only smoothen your lips but give an instant color to the lips too. Apply 2 to 3 times everyday to get yourself dream soft lips.
Apart from that, you can make a lip balm by mixing rose petals with fresh milk cream. Apply it for 20 minutes and then wash off and you have soft smooth kissable lips!
3 . Beetroot Juice
Beetroot juice works wonders to make lips pink. It is probably the best way to add some color to your lips. You need to grind beetroot in a mixer and then strain the juice. Apply it 3 – 4 times a day and keep it refrigerated.
4 . Olive oil / Clove oil
Olive oil is used in a lot of beauty treatments and it’s a perfect moisturizer for lips too. Put some olive oil with a cotton ball on your lips before taking bath and it will keep your lips moisturized the whole day. Clove oil has antiseptic qualities and it heals cracked and dry lips very fast.
5 . Lemon
Lemon is great to lighten the darkened lips. Due to pollution and constant exposure to sun, our lips loose the natural moisture which makes them dark and spotted. To get rid of the darkness you must apply lemon juice 2 to 3 times every day. Do it religiously for a week and you’ll be surprised with the results you see.
6 . Exfoliation
The dead skin that accumulates on our lips due to the dirt and sun is the main reason behind the darkness, hence it’s very important to exfoliate and remove the dead skin from time to time but wait… biting and picking the chapped skin won’t help at all. You can use sugar with honey, olive oil or lemon and apply the mixture in your lips for 10 to 15 minutes and then use a soft brush to gently rub both your lips with soft strokes. Remember don’t go too harsh or you may end up bleeding.
7 . Balanced diet and water
Nothing works better than a rich balanced diet. Include products rich in vitamin E in your diet. Dairy products and juices will enrich the vitamin as well as water content in your diet. Drink lots and lots of water for it will keep your lips moisturized and give you a glowing skin too.
- Do not go out in sun without applying a lip balm with at least 15 SPF. Keep your lip balm handy and keep on applying it every now and then.
- Don’t lick or bite your lips as this will not moisturize it, in fact will make it dryer and dark.
- Say no to smoking. It’s not only bad for lungs but bad for your lips too.
- Don’t sleep without removing your lipstick.
- Don’t use cheap products on your lips. These are really sensitive parts and you must make sure that you use trusted brands.
