Paneer Broccoli

A colorful mixed vegetable cooked with broccoli florets and Indian cheese served as a main course dish and is salubrious too.

Ingredients

  • Broccoli – 200 gm
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Corn flour – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – a few
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Ginger – small
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Mustard – 1 tsp
  • Oil – as needed
  • Onion big – 1
  • Paneer – 150 gm
  • Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – as needed
  • Sesame – 1 tsp

Method

  • Slice onions, broccoli and paneer in cubes.
  • Grind ginger, garlic in a fine paste.
  • Cut green chillies.
  • Boil broccoli in a pan for five minutes.
  • Drain the water and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Combine curry leaves, asafoetida, sesame, cumin, green chilli and onion.
  • Add up garlic-ginger paste with paneer and sauté till golden brown.
  • Combine broccoli, corn flour, lemon juice and pepper powder.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Serve hot with naan or rice.
