Ripened Banana (tight)- 2
Sugar- ¾ cup
Maida Flour- 1 cup
Baking powder- ¾ teaspoon
Refined oil- ½ cup
Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon
Milk- ½ cup
Brown Sugar- 2 tablespoons
Butter- 2 tbsp
Method of Preparation
1.Preheat the microwave oven at a temperature of 175 degree C
2.Next, cut the banana into pieces (circled shaped with a moderate thickness) and keep aside.
3.Take the cake tin. Add brown sugar and butter in the tin, and keep it for a low flame heating.
4.Mix brown sugar and butter until they blend well together. To cover the base, corners and sides of the tin with the brown sugar and butter mix, swirl the tin.
5.Place one layer of banana pieces in the entire base of cake tin, covering its base completely.
6.Now turn off the flame, and keep the tin aside.
7.Take a bowl and add ‘maida’ flour, sugar and baking powder to it.
8.In a large bowl take an egg and beat it till it becomes light and fluffy.
9.Now add the vanilla essence and oil to the mixture and beat the mixture further to make it more light.
10.After this, gradually and steadily add the one tablespoon of flour mixture at a time. Continue beating the batter.
11.If batter gets thickened then you may add a few tsp of milk in between. Remember, your batter must have ribbon like consistency.
12.Next, pour and spread the prepared batter uniformly over the tin.
13.Ensure batter covers the entire layer of banana pieces placed in the bottom of the tin.
14.Bake the cake in the oven for 30 minutes at 150 degree C.
15.Take the baked cake out of the oven, and get it placed on a wire rack.
16.Allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
17.On a serving plate, turn the baked cake upside-down.
18.As per choice, serve it cold or warm.
