It’s a journey that proves that she is the real woman of substance because she has created her own path to reach her destination. Yes, I am talking about none other than Mallika Sherawat. She might have done many item numbers and also obscene roles in flicks, but the girl is a flawless example of struggle of an Indian woman to success.
Mallika began her journey with Murder in 2004, and the movie proved to be a hit at the box office. Later, she flew to Hollywood and pursued acting there. She is one of the few actresses of B- town, who have established their niche themselves. Soon, the actress will be tying a knot with one of the common Indian men on National television, where those men will vie to win the heart of Mallika.
The show will be premiered on Life Ok as “The Bachelorette of India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika.” The show is produced by SOL productions that have earlier produced Swayamvar Season 1, 2, and 3. I know it raises a lot of eye brows and questions that why she wants to get married to a common Indian man? Didn’t she find any nice person across her journey to Bollywood, and even Hollywood? Mallika accepted the fact that she met few nice people in her life in past, but she was too busy with her career to get committed to a person.
Apart from that, another question that was being raised in front of her was that why isn’t she getting hooked up with someone from the same industry? She answered calmly and said that she wants a real man and a real love in her life. She reported that she wants to once again lead a normal non reel life, as there is nothing original in glamour world. Everything is plastic from people to their hearts.
You all would be surprised, in fact shocked to know that out of 30 contestants on the show, one of the contestants is a professor who is over 60 years. Interestingly, Mallika went up to him and touched his feet as she thought he is a father of one of the fellow contestants and has come to wish his son.
Mallika has told media in her previous interviews that Indian society is not at all a progressive one. Rather it is a regressive one. If it would have been progressing, gang rapes and other awful things would not have happened at all with Indian women. So, whoever says that India is a progressive country is surely lying to everyone.
On asking her that what kind of life partner she is looking for, she replied that her life partner has to be intelligent, but cannot be a hypocrite, and moreover, he should not talk nonsense related to her work. She does not believe in love at first sight, but yes like every girl she likes to get pampered and get loved by her boy, and Mallika is thoroughly enjoying the process as 30 contestants have already started to pamper her in their own ways.
The shooting for the show has already started in Udaipur, and show will be premiered on Life Ok from 7th October.
Well, I wish that you get the man of your dreams, a man who will pamper you and love you like a ‘Mallika’.
All the best!
