We have all seen these Bollywood hunks and divas on screen and graded them for their style, fashion and acting, but have we ever thought about their educational grades? Some of the stars are over qualified, others are qualified, and there are others, who have not even graduated. So let’s trace your favourite stars’ educational qualifications.

1.   Amitabh Bachchan


The Shahenshah of Bollywood is highly qualified in education too. He graduated from the Sherwood College in Nainital, and he is a double major from Kirori Mal College in Delhi, with degrees in Arts and Science.

2.   Kareena Kapoor


The size zero babe of Bollywood did her schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai. After that, she went to Welham Girls School in Dehradun. She studied commerce at Mithibai College in Mumbai and enrolled for a summer course in microcomputers at the Harvard University USA. She also studied Law for a year, before joining the film industry.

3.   Karishma Kapoor


Unlike her sister Bebo, Karishma didn’t study much. She dropped out of Cathedral and John Cannon School in Mumbai after sixth grade to join the film fraternity. Well, she doesn’t look like that she has only studied till sixth standard, but yeah, she did.

4.   Shahrukh Khan


The King Khan of Bollywood did his schooling from St. Columbia School in New Delhi. He did Honors in Economics from Hansraj College in New Delhi. Then he joined Jamia Milia Islamia University in New Delhi for Masters Degree in Mass Communication, but he dropped that out to pursue a career in acting further.

5.   Vidya Balan


The Dirty Picture girl did her schooling at St Anthony Girls’ High School in Chembur. She majored in Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She holds an MA from the University of Mumbai. She was doing her Masters, when she got her first film.

6.   Salman Khan


The bad boy of Bollywood- Salman Khan didn’t finish graduation. He went to the Scindia School in Gwalior along with his brothers, but he studied there only for a few years. He finished his schooling from St. Stanislaus, Mumbai. He was dropped out of the National College, Mumbai in the middle of his graduation.

7.  Amir Khan


Mr. Perfectionist, Amir Khan, surprisingly was never a bright student; of course, he has the brightest mind in the movie business today, but it was not the same in his school days. He was more interested in sports, rather than doing homework.  He studied only till 12th grade, in Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai.

8.   Katrina Kaif


Katrina Kaif has travelled almost all around the world; born in Hong Kong, later moved to China, then to Japan; she also lived in Switzerland, Germany, Poland, France, Hawaii, Belgium, and eventually in England at last. She lived in London for 2-3 years before moving to Mumbai. With so much of moving she was not left with any time to study. She started doing modelling at a very tender age.

9.  Aishwarya Rai


Aishwarya Rai is the most famous women in the world and a lady with a pretty face. She was an above the average student, but is actually a college dropout.  She did her schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir High School, Mumbai and even went to Jai Hind College, Mumbai for a year. Later she switched over to study Architecture in Raheja College. She dropped the course of Architecture in midway as she won the Miss World pageant at the age of 21.

10.   Ranbir Kapoor


The most cute and eligible bachelor of Bollywood studied at the Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai. He studied in the HR College in Mumbai for 2 years, and then he went to Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, to learn acting.

11.   Deepika Padukone


The girl with a cute smile and glittery eyes, Deepika Padukone, completed her education at Sophia High School in Bangalore. She attended Mount Carmel College, and later, enrolled with the Indira Gandhi National Open University for the course of Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, but unfortunately, never completed it.

12.   Shahid Kapoor


The chocolaty boy Shahid Kapoor did his schooling at Gyan Bharati School in New Delhi till fourth grade, then he went to Rajhans Vidyalaya in Mumbai. He completed his 3 years of graduation from Mithibai College, Mumbai.

13.   Priyanka Chopra


Priyanka Chopra as a young girl studied at La Martiniere Girls’ School, Lucknow. Later she relocated to USA, there she studied at Newton North High School in Massachusetts, and then she joined John F Kennedy High School in Iowa. To finish her high school, she returned to India and joined Army School in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. She did graduation from the Jai Hind College in Mumbai. She wanted to be a criminal psychologist or a software engineer, but Miss World title opened her ways to film industry.

14.   Abhishek Bachchan


Abhishek Bachchan completed her education at the Modern School in New Delhi. Later, he went to study at Jamnabai Narsee School and Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai. He did graduation at the Aiglon College in Switzerland. For further higher studies, he went to Boston University in USA, but unfortunately had to drop out after his father’s company ABCL went into losses.

15.   Bipasha Basu


This pretty Bong girl did her schooling from Bhavan’s Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir in Kolkata. She took Commerce in high school and studied with the same at Bhawanipur Education Society College, as her aim was to be a Chartered Accountant. However, modelling landed her up in Bollywood.

16.   John Abraham


The handsome hunk of Bollywood, John Abraham, is just not only good in looks, but he is an intelligent man too. He studied Economics at the Bombay Scottish School, and then he graduated from Jai Hind College in Mumbai. After this, he completed MBA from Mumbai Educational Trust (MET).

17.   Saif Ali Khan


Saif Ali Khan did his schooling at the Lawrence School, Sanawar, and then later joined the Lockers Park School in England. Following his father’s footsteps, he attended the prestigious English public school- ‘the Winchester College’ in the UK.

18.   Hrithik Roshan


The man with the Greek God looks, Hrithik Roshan, did schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. He did graduation in Commerce, from the Sydenham College, Mumbai.

Akshay Kumar did his schooling at Don Bosco School, Mumbai and at the Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Mumbai. He was always active in sports rather than in studies. He dropped out of college to study martial art studies in Bangkok.

20.   Imraan Khan


Imran Khan initially studied at the Bombay Scottish School for a while; later, he went to a boarding school in Ooty. He enrolled in St. Xavier’s college for short term, where he met his future wife Avantika Malik. He shifted to California then, and did a course of filmmaking and acting from New York.

21.   Sonam Kapoor


Sonam Kapoor did her schooling at the Arya Vidya Mandir School, Mumbai and then she completed her education in the United World College of South East Asia to do the course in International Studies.

22.   Parineeti Chopra


Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Parineeti Chopra, studied at the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala. She later enrolled at the Manchester Business School, in UK, to learn Finance and Economics. She returned to India because of recession and joined as a Marketing and PR consultant at Yash Raj Films.

Bollywood’s dimpled beauty and the owner of an IPL team, is a perfect example of beauty with brains. She completed her graduation in English Honours. After that, she did graduation in Psychology, and further earned a Post Graduate degree in Criminal Psychology. Wow! Sounds cool, huh!

26.   Amisha Patel


Well she is not a superstar, but she was a bright student. Amisha Patel did her schooling at the Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai. She went overseas to study Economics at the Tufts University in Massachusetts.
