Indeed, everyone has got his own personal life and wants to spend that time alone or with a special someone. But, what if media or any other person becomes a hindrance to that privacy? Something similar has happened with two of the hottest and most talked about stars of B-Town- Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.
Duo were enjoying a break and cozy time together at Ibiza, Spain, when one gets to see Katrina Kaif in a two piece bikini, and that person clicked pictures of leggy lass in red and white bikini, which has become a popular and burning topic of discussion amongst film fraternity and fan following of the duo.
Even the parents of Ranbir – Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor are fuming over the whole controversy, stating that it is an unwanted glare and forceful interference in ones private life. On the other hand, Katrina is also disappointed by such an awful act by media, who is circulating her pictures to more and more people. She has written a letter to the media, expressing her anger on the use of her pictures for commercial use, without her permission.
Her letter read like this – “I am writing this to say that I feel most upset, distressed and invaded at my pictures published in a film magazine (and which were carried by other media). The pictures were taken while I was on holiday by someone who, in an act of cowardice, has shot without permission and then used the pictures for commercial gain.
There is a breed of journalism that preys on celebrities in the worst possible manner crossing all lines of privacy and decency. Running these pictures shows support for this school of journalism.
I request that all media running these pictures please refrain from doing so. I have a wonderful relationship with the media and have been accessible to the media at all times. There is no reason for this furtive and invasive behaviour.”
Well Katrina, we are sad for the kind of controversy that has been created against you. But, at the same time we should acknowledge the fact that media is very much active, and it can reach anywhere, at any point of time. It is like the Big Boss – watching you every time.
