“I’m in Miami bitch”

“I’m in Miami bitch” So says David Guetta!

And you too will shout out the same once you experience the ‘Miami heat’.

Yes! I am gonna tell you about the spectacularly awe-inspiring ‘Miami’ and who knows this could be your next escapade…

First of all, take a deep breath, there’s no way you can see the whole of Miami in your first visit (unless you are planning to stay for a month at least). Beaches, culture, art, shopping, nightlife, natural splendor with the man made attractions… Miami has something for everyone. You might feel short of time and short of capacity to experience everything and being pulled in all directions, so the best is set yourself free… don’t go the mechanical touring mode here… it’s the city to explore and be ready for pleasant surprises!

If you are going with your fun-loving family, you’ll rather stick around to North Miami Beach where you’ll find the family-friendly beaches, the most fascinating Art Deco architecture, and the most inexpensive hotels and restaurants. The attractions of the Greater Miami lie within 10 miles which includes art galleries, museums and theatres.

Then, there’s south beach (SoBe) the heart and soul of Miami. This is the urban hotspot where you’ll spot plentiful hot bikini babes rising the temperature of the beach. In the evenings, it’s vivacious and arresting with the natural (and the human) beauties. Party hard all night!

Best Time to Visit

The best months would be Jan, Feb, March, April or November and December as these are the months that receive the least of the rainfall and are less humid and hot.

Where to Stay

Where south beach has an impressive array of classy beach hotels, it may not be easy on your pocket. But if your funds allow you and you are staying in one of the glittering south beach hotels, you have everything at a comfortable walking distance and the best of the sights guaranteed.

If you wanna save some money on the staying part, search an accommodation in the north or downtown. Finding an economy hotel in Miami may be a tough task but it’s worth the toil.

Things to do in Miami

  • Culture Pursuit

Miami is rich in culture and there’s a lot to amuse you in History Miami Museum and Jewish Museum of Florida. On the other hand, the art museums house an array of enchanting artworks by various renowned artists. If you are into opera and ballet, then too, Miami has some really good options for you.

  • Latin Cuisine

Little Havana is probably the best place to experience Miami’s Latin flavor. You can walk into some local cigar shop and see the stogies being made. Little Havana houses brilliant art galleries and souvenir shops that sell everything from classic guayabera shirts to Cuban flags.  Little Havana is a great sight during Viernes Culturales(Cultural Fridays). Delicious Cuban food is worth a try.

  • Art Deco

Soak up the unique architecture of the art deco historic district by taking a stroll from the art deco welcome center at 1001 ocean drive. You can’t help but admire the blustery front porches, nautical motifs and porthole windows. A lot for the ones with an eye for architecture!

  • Tropical Break

When you are bored of admiring all the greatest architecture and arty museums, step into the Fairchild tropical botanic garden. Befriend the dolphins at Miami Seaquarium, witness the distinctive wildlife of South America at the Jungle Island or Miami zoo. There are over 2000 animals to encounter at the Miami zoo and hence it’s a total miss-me-not.

  • Underwater

Well there are beaches and there is water, lots and lots of it and of course, there is a lot of water activities like diving, snorkel, standup paddleboard, windsurfing, canoe, and kayak or just go out to catch some fishes. Miami boasts of the only underwater national park in the country – The Biscayne National Park flaunts an exotic variety of sea creatures and coral reefs. It may turn out to be one of the most magical sights you’ve ever come across.

  • Party all Night

No wonder that the night life of Miami is celebrated in all parts of the world. South beach has popular spots like Amnesia, LIV and Mynt whereas downtown has options like space, Bardot or grand central. Surrender yourself to the colorful lights and the rocking house music or even better, catch up something Live. Remember, in Miami, there are no rules. 😉

Miami knows how to throw a party- the party never stops at LIV

  • Nude Sunbathing

At haulover beach park (clothing-optional beach) on south beach there’s more to do apart from nude sunbathing, if only, that’s not enough for you. 😉 You can try kite flying, charter fishing or beach volleyball. Now you may shilly-shally a bit to get into your birthday suit but trust me once you are inside the beach no one is judging you or making you conscious by staring. Must try!
