Blackheads are annoying! Everyone can see them despite tons of makeup done on the face. If your skin is prone to blackheads, here are natural remedies for you to remove them at home. I tried one of the methods (method 1), and trust me I can see the notice in just one week.
Let’s begin with the first remedy (my favourite)
Nutmeg Powder and Milk
All you need is milk and nutmeg powder.
This is a fantastic recipe for those who have oily skin. Nutmeg removes the excess oil and the lactic acid, present in milk, eliminates the dead skin.
Mix nutmeg powder and milk to form a thin paste. Wash your face and pat dry. Now, apply this paste gently, in a circular motion. Concentrate on blackhead prone areas. Rub the paste for 2-3 minutes and wash.
Benefit: cleans skin
Simple yet different!
Do not wet your face before applying honey. Make sure you have a clean face, before applying this mask.
Pour little honey over your fingers and dab your fingers over blackhead prone areas. The honey will absorb all the impurities present inside your pores. Pull your fingers back and repeat the process for 3-4 minutes.
Benefit: removes impurities
You may find the smell of the egg intolerable, but you will not mind the smell after you see the results!
Clean your face. Spread the egg-white, on your face, using a paintbrush (if you do not want untidiness with your hands). Start with the first layer. Then, dry it. Apply a second coat and let the paste dry thoroughly. Now, work on the blackhead prone area for a third coat. Keep this mask for 15 minutes. Use a wet napkin to wipe your face.
Benefit: removes 90% blackhead
All you require is clay mask “Multani Mitti” and rose water.
Add a few drops of rose water to the clay pack. Form a paste, without any lumps. Apply on areas prone to blackheads and whiteheads. Keep the paste for 15 minutes and wash.
Benefit: Clears black pores
Gentle Toothbrush scrub
When everything else fails, try this toothbrush scrub (the most extreme case). Never use your used toothbrush while scrubbing your nose.
Use a soft toothbrush. Pour lemon drops over the toothbrush along with few drops of Jojoba oil. Now, softly scrub the blackhead affected area in circular motions. But very slowly!
Try this trick only once a week, and do not do this on inflamed or open cuts. Do not brush your entire face with lemon juice.
Benefit: Removes harsh blackheads
Here are easy ways to avoid blackheads:
- Do not try new cosmetics frequently.
- Don’t wash your face with chemical based face wash. As this, the skin produces more oil.
- Wash your face daily with natural goodies.
- Don’t wear make-up daily.
- Use clean pillow case to sleep.
- Use toner before you moisturise your skin.
- Go for steam bath once a week to open your pores.
- Use natural peel-off mask at home to avoid dirt
