Do you feel embarrassed in showing off those lovely pair of stilettos because of your not-so-good-looking feet? Our feet carry our weight the entire day, but we usually forget to take care of them. Don’t you think that this body part also deserves some pamper? Make your feet feel rejuvenated and clean, without spending big bucks. Try the below given milk foot spa at home.





Things You will Require

  • Shampoo/liquid soap
  • 4-5 drops lemon juice
  • 1 cup Epsom salt
  • 2 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp essential oil (rosemary or lavender)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 7-8 drops of hydrogen peroxide
  • 1 cup milk
  • Lukewarm water
  • Rose Petals
  • Pumice Stone
  • Nail clipper
  • Moisturizer

Stepwise Procedure for Foot Spa

Step 1-   Fill up lukewarm water in a tub.


Step 2-    Add shampoo, lemon juice, Epsom salt, baking soda, honey, essential oil, olive oil, hydrogen peroxide, and milk in the tub.


Step 3-   Cut a lemon into half. Place it into the tub.


Step 4-   Put few rose petals in it. You can also put fresh mint leaves (if available) in it.


Step 5-   Soak your feet in the tub for 15-30 minutes.

Step 6-   The above step will make your skin soft. Now, scrub the dead skin with the help of pumice stone. Don’t be too rough in scrubbing your feet.


Step 7-   Cut you toenails with the help of a nail clipper. Don’t cut them too short. After clipping, give them shape and buff.


Step 8-   Remove the old nail paint.


Step 9-   Paint your toe nails with favourite colour.


Step 10-   Massage your feet with light strokes, with cream, moisturizer or lotion, to and fro in the direction of toes. Rotate your fingers clockwise and anti-clockwise. Give a slight pressure to the ankles and heels, with a firm motion.
