The reason behind adding mascara into the list of essentials is that a single application of mascara can boost up your eyes, making them look highly fascinating and vivacious. Mascara can actually work wonders for your eyes.

Today, I am going to tell you the technique of making cake mascara in few easy steps. So, let’s get started:

Step #1- Things Required

  • 4 activated charcoal caplets
  • ¼ tsp of corn starch
  • ½ tsp of contact lens solution or bottled water
  • 3-4 drops of Argon oil, Jojoba oil or olive oil.

Equipments Required:

  • A glass bowl
  • Popsicle sticks (the one that are used in ice candies)
  • A measuring spoon
  • A container with a lid
  • Old mascara brush.

Step #2

Open the four charcoal caplets and empty them into the glass bowl. Since it is in the powder form, handle it carefully to avoid mess.

Step #3

Add ¼ tsp of corn starch into the charcoal powder. Blend it efficiently so that white corn starch gets effectively mixed up with the black charcoal.

Step #4

Now, as you have blended the mixture of black charcoal and white corn starch, you can now add oil. Take 3-4 drops of jojoba oil or other oil that you are using and pour it over the mixture. Stir it up a little bit so that clumps are not formed.

Step #5

Next up is to add the lens solution or bottled water and mix it up with Popsicle stick. Now, transfer the content into the container that you have chosen to store the mascara. Let it settle in the container for an hour.

Step #6

Take the mascara with the help of that old mascara brush and start highlighting your lashes. What you get as a result is a beautiful and charming ‘you’.
