Corn Capsicum

Sweet and sour corn snack.

Cooking Time: 10 mins

Serves: 4


  • 1 packet of corn (250 gms)
  • Half cup chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 tsp tomato sauce
  • Grated cheese
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp sugar


  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Sauté onions till golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and stir.
  • Add soft and tender corns in the pan.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, pepper powder and mix well.
  • Add  the chopped capsicum to the mixture and  stir
  • The capsicum should be crunchy, don’t over-fry it.
  • Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and mix well.
  • Mix sugar to the mixture.
  • Garnish with oregano and grated cheese.
  • Severe hot.
