Banana Cheese Rolls

Mouth watering banana cheese roll with a difference!!

Serves: 15-20

Ingredients

  • Salt
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Bread crumbs
  • 6 raw bananas (large)
  • 4 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 sticks cinnamon (small)
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 1/2 cups green peas (boiled)

Batter

  • ¾ maida
  • ¾ cup water

Method

  • Boil the bananas.
  • Peel off the skin.
  • Mash the bananas.
  • Combine salt, corn flour and lemon juice.

Stuffing

  • Heat the ghee in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds along with cloves and cinnamon.
  • Mix peas, salt, grated cheese and green chilli paste.
  • Cool down the banana mixture.

Procedure

  • Take the banana dough.
  • Add in the stuffing inside and seal it from all sides.
  • Add the water in the flour.
  • Put in the stuffed bananas in it.
  • Now roll the stuffed banana over the bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry till golden brown.
  • Serve crisp.
