Looks like Sonam is taking a break from her good fashionable days. As much as we loved her makeup and hair, everything else that had written all over it, was tacky. The black lace on the dove grey looked bad enough. Moreover, we don’t even want to get started about the choli pattern.
When we saw the picture, at first we thought it was striking. Then we looked closely and found that the black waistcoat over the black one didn’t make any sense. This is how Mrs. Bachchan decided to dress for the portrait session at the Cannes film festival.
We are trying to fathom if this Dolce & Gabbana gown was designed in that way or it became such after Mallika had worn it. Either way … it failed!
Tejaswini Kolhapure forgot what she was dressing for, when she picked the Pria Kataria Puri strapless maxi dress. Also, the hair needed some taming. It’s almost like she forgot to comb them too.
Though, the sapphire necklace was a welcome contrast on the Sabyasachi sari, we are yearning for a different hairdo on Mrs. Siddharth Roy Kapoor. The ‘nathni’ seemed out-of place but looked like the Bollywood ladies are all set to get the typical ‘nath’ mainstream.
Sherlyn Chopra hogged for attention in her revealing black dress, with a chunky neckpiece. Later, she was no better in an off-white lehenga that she tied dangerously low. Sherlyn’s outfits appeared screaming for the attention.
Amitabh Bacchan, whose dressing sense is mostly adorable, seemed a bit casual on the photo call, with his striped blue jacket with white pants and white shoes. Later, he overdid it with a sequined black tuxedo and a bow. That too, a polka dots one.
