They are world-known and have a thriving career. Also, these celebs own loads of wealth. But, being popular or prosperous doesn’t mean that their life is going easy. They too had undergone through a tough phase in their life. Here, I have included 5 celebs, who have struggled with fertility issues. Some of them resorted to IVF and others opted for adoption.
1. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
December 1, 2011 was the happiest day for this couple. After some difficulties and a long wait, Kiran and Aamir got their first baby son through surrogacy, using in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Doctors suggested them to way out for IVF due to some medical impediments.
2. Marica Cross
The fertility of a woman begins to decrease after the age of 30 and conceiving complications increases. The same happened with Marica Cross (an American actress). She was 40, when she decided to become a mom. So, soon after the wedding, she underwent IVF. In February 2007, she gave birth to twin daughters.
3. Brooke Shields
Brooke Shields is an American model and actress. Before getting pregnant with first son, the actress had to resort to IVF for 7 times. It was the very gloomy chapter of her life. She had to face postpartum complications. Incapability to react to her baby’s requirements and setback in creating a maternal bonding made her frustrated. Gradually, with the help of doctors, she came out of this traumatic situation and today, she is a loving mom.
4. Celine Dion
She is a Canadian singer. She married to Rene Angelil on December 17, 1994. She attempted to conceive for many years, but failed. Finally, the couple resorted to in-vitro fertilization. Celine underwent IVF 6 times. It was a very emotional journey for her. On October 23, 2010, she gave birth to healthy twins.
5. Hugh Jackman
He is an Australian producer and actor. He got married to Deborra- Lee Furness on April 11, 1996. The couple wanted to have their own biological child. Deborra conceived two times, but both times, she had miscarriage. Later, they adopted 2 children- Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot.
