Kalpen Suresh Modi (Kal Penn) was born in 1977 in New Jersey to a Gujarati Indian family, now living in Los Angeles. He is known for his comic role in “Harold and Kumar” film series, and for poignant role in The Namesake. He is an American film and television actor, producer and an American civil servant. He debuted with Express: Aisle to Glory, after this, he has appeared in films like Malibu’s Most Wanted, Superman Returns, American Desi, Epic Movie, Dude Where Is The Party, A Lot Like Love, and many others.
