These sister duos have succeeded in spelling their charisma in the Indian film industry. Let’s check the list of B-wood sisters, who with their acting, made a giant splash on the silver screen.
1. Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Arora Khan
In the list of best item girls of B-wood, Malaika’s name comes first. She flaunts confidence in her every move. “Chaiyya Chaiyya” and “Munni Badnaam Hui” are some of her popular item numbers.
Her lil sis, Amrita made her acting debut in 2002, with Kitne Door Kitne Pass. However, she is still not able to give a hit movie at the box office.
2. Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna
They are the daughters of Dimple Kapadia and late Rajesh Khanna. Besides being a renowned actress, Twinkle is also a popular interior designer and the co-owner of The White Window store. She said goodbye to the film industry, after marriage to actor Akshay Kumar.
The younger sister, Rinkie Khanna made her acting debut with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Before making an appearance on the big screen, Rinkie was known as Rinkle. Unlike her elder sister, she was not spotted on the screen for a long time.
3. Sameera, Sushma and Meghna Reddy
Sameera is the youngest among three sisters. This hot babe not only managed to look gorgeous, but also succeeded in establishing herself as a worthy actress in the industry. She has a huge fan following and innumerable hit Kollywood and Bollywood films in her kit.
Sushma and Meghna enjoyed a bright career in television and modeling, but failed to do something miraculous in the film industry. Sushma was seen in more than 100 TV ads, like Thumbs Up, Ford Icon, Godrej, Liberty, Fair & Lovely, and Limca. She made her acting debut with Chocolate. Meghna is continuing with her modeling.
4. Kajol and Tanisha
These dusky Bengali beauties are the daughters of popular actress Tanuja. Kajol’s performance in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham helped her a lot in getting public recognition, and made her the most adored actress of the Bollywood.
Although, the younger sis Tanisha was seen in Sssshhh…, Tango Charlie, Sarkar, and Neal N Nikki, but failed to set up herself as a successful actress in the tinsel town. She is still looking for a big break!
5. Ria and Raima Sen
Ria and Riama are the daughters of actress Moon Moon Sen. Both the sisters began their acting career with Bengali movies. First, Riya made her appearance in the B-wood. Riama came later. The younger sister, Riya succeeded in building a bombshell reputation. Some of her hit movies are Shaadi No. 1, Apna Sapna Money Money and Paying Guests.
On the other hand, Raima’s public image is more demure and much lower-key than Ria’s.
6. Shilpa and Shamita Shetty
For the first time, these sexiest babes were seen together on the big screen, in Fareb (2005). Like elder sis, the ‘sharara sharara’ girl, Shamita, too has sexy curving, but still she is waiting for some great offers to secure her position in B-wood.
Shilpa, on the other hand, succeeded in reaching new highs, not only on big screen, but also in other aspects. In 2007, she won Celebrity Big Brother UK. She is also an owner of Rajasthan Royals (an IPL team).
7. Shilpa and Namrata Shirodkar
Former Miss India, Namrata Shirodkar, is the younger sister of the actress Shilpa Shirodkar. Both the sisters began their careers simultaneously: Namrata started with modeling and Shilpa with acting. By the time, Shilpa quit the industry and Namrata turned an actress.
8. Karishma and Kareena Kapoor
Karisma and Kareena are the most successful sis pair in Bollywood. Lolo (Karishma) and Bebo (Kareena) have got acting talents in heredity. They are the adorable daughters of Babita and Randhir Kapoor. During the early 90s, the elder Karishma provided the glamour quotient to the B-wood.

9. Dimple and Simple Kapadia
Simple made her first appearance on the silver screen with Anurodh, in 1977, opposite Rajesh Khanna, who was her real-life brother-in-law. She never got fame like Dimple, her elder sister. However, she ended her acting career in 1987, and turned costume designer. For her costume design in Rudaali, she won a National Award.
Dimple made her acting debut with Bobby, when she was in sweet 16. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Bobby and Saagar. After marriage, the actress left the film industry.
10. Sadhna and Babita
The credit of introducing fringe hairstyle in the film industry goes to Sadhna, who was the elder sister of Babita. Sadhna was the fashion icon of 1960s – 70s. In 2002, International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awarded her a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Babita’s career was very short in the film industry. She appeared just in 78 movies. After her marriage to Randhir Kapoor, she gave up her acting career. Haseena Maan Jayegi (1968) was her biggest box-offices successes.
