I personally love winged liner and it is one absolute gorgeous eye makeup trend but if you don’t get it right , you end up looking like ‘Meena Kumari’ which am sure you weren’t aiming for!
- First of all, draw the outline with a light eye pencil. Sketch the kind of wing you want and how far you want it to go. Take my word and don’t stretch it too far. Less is more here. Start with tracing the line as thin as possible and make it fatter as it reaches towards the end.
- Now, take a look at your face and make sure that both the wings are symmetrical. If you can’t figure out, use a scale to assess the alignment of both wings. And make corrections with the same pencil. It’s okay if it smudges a little at the end.
- Trace a liquid liner on the lines and give it a neat finish. Rest your elbow on some table or hard surface to keep your hand from shaking. The shape and size of wings depends on your eye shape and occasion but remember not to overdo it. (Unless, the occasion is a fancy dress.)
