Are those unused fabrics making you annoyed? Are you going to throw them away? If so, then wait…! I have an innovative idea for these fabrics. You can use it for creating a beautiful upholstered stool that perfectly matches your decor.
Here are the step-by-step instructions to build an upholstered stool.
- Small Stool
- Staple Gun and Staples
- Primer and Spray Paint
- Foam Pad
Begin with spray painting the legs of the stool. First apply a coat of primer. Then, paint it with the colour matching the fabric, you have chosen.
Let it dry. After that, cut the foam about 2 inches larger than the seat of the stool on all sides. Cut the fabric 5 inches larger than stool’s seat, on all sides.
Fold the fabric from the corner of the stool, and staple it right next to the legs. Pull on the fabric using light tension. Ensure, that it is uniform all around.
Fold all the corners in the similar way.
Turn it over, and appreciate your handy job!
